It could be said that The Honey Badgers are “appearing again for the first time!” They did a short opening set at a Sundilla show last March, and even then we said that they were good enough to be headlining. The Honey Badgers are a contemporary folk duo bringing their sincere Americana sound to stages across the east coast. The Delaware duo is known for their intense, sparkling harmonies, their honest lyrics and melodies, and their undeniable chemistry on and off stage. Weaving their voices together with Michael’s driving guitar and Erin’s wistful violin, The Honey Badgers spin stories and songs about finding yourself, finding each other, and finding your way in the world. folk/Americana sound has been likened to that of The Civil Wars. They are known for their intense, unique harmonies, their sincere lyrics and melodies, and their undeniable and captivating onstage charm.

Hidden-Sound calls The Honey Badgers “…a folk duo with a rare talent for proper vocal technique and interesting harmonies… a blend of male and female; hurt and hopeful; smart and soulful.” Sound Salvation says “The group’s original folk tunes provide a mix of soulful vocal harmonies, dynamically sonic guitar playing and perfectly executed fiddle.” But perhaps the best quotes were those we heard after their opening set last year, when so many in the audience said “Bring them back again as soon as you can, so we can hear an entire concert instead of just a few songs.”
