That much music demands more time, so the usual 7 o’clock start time is being moved up to 6:00 […] Read more »

The Dexateens @ Bloodhound — Saturday, July 7

DexateensFBPhoto

Any appearance from Tuscaloosa’s Dexateens is an occasion. After nearly calling it quits a few years ago, they’ve gigged just often enough to keep their shows from being called reunion concerts. Fans of rock-n-roll presented loud, fast, and just this side of out of control are in for a treat when our friends over at Bloodhound bring them to Auburn for what promises to be an unforgettable Saturday night. Sure, it’s a little harder than the usual Sundilla concert, but with the mercury living in the upper reaches, it’s time to get out, rock out, and howl at the moon! Read more »

Frank Fairfield @ Bloodhound | Thursday, May 24

FrankFairfield-FB

Our friends at Bloodhound sure got our attention with this blurb: Frank Fairfield performs entirely acoustic and individually authentic popular, American and international folk, “old time” and bluegrass music. His instruments are Fiddle, Banjo, guitar, mandolin and his voice. I don’t know about you, but that sound exactly like Sundilla music to us! NPR did a great profile. And, just check out this video: We exchanged a few emails with Daniel, the guy who books Bloodhound, and he also let us know that: 1) There will be no cover. 2) It’s going to be a listening room environment. Something tells […] Read more »

DavePottsLiveAtSundilla

Long time fans of Sundilla know that one of our best friends is Dave Potts. When Dave Potts plays Sundilla, it’s always guaranteed to be a big deal and an even bigger crowd. On April 3 was the official release date for Dave Potts Live at Sundilla. With Dave’s great music, original photography by Kathryn Olsen and liner notes by our own Bailey Jones, its […] Read more »
