Make Music Day 2016 was an absolute blast, even though the world record was a classic case of defeat being snatched from the jaws of victory. Which is just going to make the 2017 version even better!! Make Music Alabama is free and open to ALL musicians! Our friends at Spicer’s Music are excited to be hosting Make Music Alabama right here in Auburn on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 6pm in the Gay Street Municipal Parking Lot. The goal is to have over 1,500 musicians playing together which will make it the largest rock band ever to play a song together in the world, breaking the existing Guinness World Record!
This year, we will be joined by Ken Block and Drew Copeland of Sister Hazel and will be playing their hit, “All For You!”
Make Music Alabama offers musicians of all ages and all skill levels the opportunity to be a part of a historic music occasion. It will be FUN, it will be LOUD, and it will be MONUMENTAL! Register at the link below and you will be emailed your musical part. VOLUNTEERS ALSO NEEDED! Register at the same link. Check the Spicer’s Music Facebook page for updated information.
